Every great green organization needs offices. So when you are Buffalo ReUse and you're accustomed to holding your meetings in the same warehouse where you sell the goods that you've acquired through house deconstruction, the next logical step is to purchase a neighboring house.
Anyways, that's what Buffalo ReUse recently did. They bought a cheap house on Eaton Street and they're fixing it up to suit their needs. It's a textbook case of 'Practice What You Preach'. And why not? When you have access to all of the tools and supplies that you need to fix up a house, why not reclaim a structure behind your warehouse and get to work on creating office space? Cheap, wood floors, original craftsmanship details... what's not to like?
