Skyway to the Future
Concept:
Ran Webber is a Buffalo artist who thinks big when it comes to our waterfront. His creative mixed use concept envisions the city's Skyway in one of the most exciting, green, adaptive reuse scenarios possible. From windmills to rainwater harvesting, everything about this promotes green lifestyle.
The rendering looks like one of H. G. Wells' projections in the 1936 science fiction movie (The Shape of) Things to Come. Breathtaking to say the least - the type of project that harkens back to the dreams of those who built the original Skyway. An futuristic airship looking creation that would certainly captivate the imagination of Buffalonians and the world.
