Buffalo RiverFest Regatta
In my opinion, this is one of the funnest creative events that takes place in Buffalo. Build your own boat and race it down the Buffalo River for cash prizes. There are also races for canoes and kayaks. Or just come down and be a spectator - there's a big party afterwords at Father Conway Park. From The Valley Center:
"Held annually in June. The Buffalo River Fest aims to showcase and draw attention to the history and on-going revitalization of the Buffalo River Front. The Buffalo River Fest is a two day family festival that includes live music, a river regatta, classic car show, kids area, softball... The event also highlights the revitalization efforts being made along the Buffalo River Front and the recreational opportunities that exist."
