Father Conway Park
Father Conway Park, located in the old First Ward, is one of the most underrated parks in the city. This is the home base for the River Fest event that takes place in June. It's also home to various softball leagues that are supported by a number of the nearby pubs.
Perfect spot for flying a kite, throwing a Frisbee or even camping (during festival weekends). There's even enough room to drive some golf balls if no one is around, which is much of the time since this really is a little known neighborhood park. Thanks to festivals like River Fest and nearby kayak launches, more and more people are discovering just how great this park really is.
