Mother Nature is a reliable plant shop on Elmwood - really the only plant shop on Elmwood. Excellent selection of plants and flowers sold by the owner who really knows his stuff.
Interesting that the owner has a sign on the door much of the time telling customers to walk next door to the neighboring Greek diner. That's where he sits, eats his breakfast and lunch while reading the daily paper.
Do you want to know how trusting Buffalonians are? When the owner is next door the shop door is always open. So customers walk in and browse around until they choose a plant. In order to pay for it (if there is not a college student attendant hired for the day) the customer walks to the Greek diner and snags the owner who walks back over to tender the sale - I'm not kidding!
