Golden Burma is the latest Asian food market to open on the West Side. Filled with all sorts of canned, packaged, frozen, meats, fish, produce and even day to day sundries... some readily identifiable and others completely unrecognizable... unless you happen to be Burmese.
There are hundreds of Burmese refugees living on the West Side, and we're just starting to see a cultural shift when it comes to the types of shops and markets that are springing up.
