The Stripteasers
Buffalo based burlesque troupe The Stripteasers have been shocking audiences since April 2004. Madina Madis, Lady A, Ginger Gently, Mistress J, and Ava LaFey unite dance, political satire and queer sketch comedy to create a shocking, sex positive revue.
Keeping with the age old tradition of burlesque, The Stripteasers use their wit and sass to challenge social stigmas, gender hierarchy, and political constructs. Hardly virgins to the burlesque scene, The Stripteasers continue to seduce audiences internationally, most recently appearing at LadyFest Ohio, Buffalo's Music is Art Festival, Fetish Conn's National Fetish Convention in Tampa, and Skin Two's Rubber Ball in Atlanta.
Catch them every Thursday at Roxy's as they rock and rebel against the status quo, presenting fluid forms of sexuality and showcasing the absurdity of social roles.
