Ledge Spot
This is an unofficial non-sanctioned downtown skatepark - that is until a real one gets built sometime over the next year or so. In the meantime, skaters have laid claim to this old industrial building foundation. The deck to this property is flat and gives riders the opportunity to set up some pretty sweet rails.
At any given time during the warmer months, packs of kids can be seen practicing tricks from early morning until dusk. Nearby, along the Buffalo River, there is a new people park being built called Festival Park. Some of the old warehouses are being converted to lofts, there is a kayak launch just down the street and Father Conway Park is close by.
