Small Built Works Bus Shelter #1
If only all bus stops in the city could look and function like this. University at Buffalo architecture professor, Brad Wales, put this artistic shelter on the map along with his students.
This is just one of many Small Built Works projects that now dot the Allentown landscape. Other works include bike racks, stenciled poetic words, waymarking sculptures, etc. This is one of my favorites. See the way that it plays off the world-famous Kleinhans Music Hall and the reflection pool. A great modern day sculptural and functional addition to this historic neighborhood.
