UB's Research Institute on Addictions (RIA)
RIA is located on the 120-acre downtown Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, at Main and Goodrich Streets. Street parking is available at meters.
Thirty-nine years of groundbreaking addictions research. The mission of today's RIA is to contribute to the following broad areas of addictions research:
* etiology, prevention, and treatment;
* social, psychological, and neurophysiological aspects; and
* health and medical aspects.
RIA's neighbors include UBs Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo General Hospital, Hauptman Woodward Research Institute, as well as other major institutions and biomedical firms.
