While Women & Childrens Hospital has been known as the place for sick or injured children since 1892, it is also the regional center for a comprehensive range of specialists available to serve the health needs of women before, during and after giving birth.
Women & Childrens Hospital has a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists and surgeons who comprise a nationally and internationally recognized academic unit for training the next generation of pediatric specialists as an affiliated teaching hospital of the University at Buffalo, and who make it the preferred site for children to receive care in Western New York.
