Prospero

Navigetter tip: Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can order two entrees and a bottle of wine for an astonishing $38. On Thursdays, for $20, you get three appetizers and two premium drinks... not bad!

Ok, these guys serve up one of the best dishes in the city. The eggplant parm will knock your socks off. Place this dish in front of the biggest meat lover that you know and I guarantee that he or she will have no idea that there is eggplant in the dish. It's that good. Plus the salted olive butter is out of this world! Be sure to ask for a basket of bread when you first sit down... you won't be sorry.

This was once a longstanding French restaurant by the name of Coda. This was a big hot spot for the Kleinhans Music Hall crowd, who frequented the quaint establishment with great fervor. For years this restaurant has been sitting empty, and as the neighborhood around it has literally blossomed, this corner has stood vacant... until now.

At long last, Prospero, a white table-clothed Italian-Mediterranean restaurant, has opened its doors to the Fargo-Estate community, Buffalo Philharmonic ticket holders and fans of 'Meditalian' cuisine and fine wines. And can you say, "Chocolate fondue!"

Prospero is located at 350 Pennsylvania St. Buffalo, NY 14201
