Shakespeare Sledding Hill
As for sledding hills in the city, this is one of the best. Great for families with kids - an excellent wintertime activity located at Delaware Park near the Rose Garden and Gala Waters (Hoyt Lake).
If there is snow on the ground, chances are that you will find plenty of kids sledding on this hill as parents look on. The hill is not steep - but for a young kid it is a blast to go down.
In the summer months this same hill plays host to the Shakespeare at the Park series.
