Green Buffalo Runner
Green Buffalo Runner was launched in the fall of 2010 and coincided with the international efforts of www.350.org to raise awareness about climate concerns. The inaugural Green Buffalo Run was head on 10/10/10 and was one of over 7000 green events held in 188 countries throughout the world.
Green Buffalo Runner represents a cross section of individuals concerned about what type of planet we will leave to our children. Setting aside political ideologies, Green Buffalo Runners simply agree on the premise that the Earths natural resources are finite and dwindling.
The 2nd Annual Green Buffalo Run took place on October 8th, 2010 in Buffalos Delaware Park. Participants can choose between a 4.3 run or an 1.8 mile walk. The post race party will include a group tree planting in WNYs premier Olmsted Park.
