Kleinhans Music Hall's Reflecting Pool
It's hard to believe that during Buffalo's dark times, landmarks such as this reflecting pool could be destroyed. Seeing that the pool was Eliel and Eero Saarinen's original design, how could anybody think about filling it in and forgetting about it?
It was not until 2001 when the reflecting pool finally restored, thus restoring the integrity of the music hall's grounds. Combine that with the 2002 restoration of Frederick Law Olmsted's original parkway designed Symphony Circle, and the Kleinhans Neighborhood shines as it once did. This is now one of the most desirable places to live for anyone looking for the ultimate quality of life.
