RE: La Tee Da

RE: La Tee Da

Just got back from a late dinner. I would put this as the perfect date spot for young and old. Very happy, friendly and laid back atmosphere. Mary was a pleasure as always. The live music was pretty good too.

I had the black seasame encrusted Ahi Tuna with a fig salad and it was very very good. The tuna was nicely very rare, it had no fat lines in it (oddly enough I have gotten bad pieces of tuna before), the portion was if I had to guess between 6-8 oz. so it was fairly large for what I was expecting.
The fig salad was great. Fresh baby greens, figs, crispy prosciutto, candy almonds and a balsamic vinaigrette went nicely with my tuna.
Finished with a creme brulee which of course was delicious (it's tough to mess up something so naturally good).

Would highly recommend this spot to anyone for dates / fun outtings, although if you're afraid of loud music be sure to catch the great food on a non-band night.

*In my view, reservations are recommended to ensure a nice table*
