There is a major makeover occurring at the Outer Harbor's Union Ship Canal. The land around the inlet is being transformed into a public park with pedestrian bridge, benches and fishing areas.
This is one more step in transforming the Outer Harbor into an outdoor destination, perfect for relaxing, walking, and taking in the sights and sounds of Lake Erie. Also visit Tifft Nature Preserve and Times Beach Nature Preserve, both within walking distance.
