If you're heading to a show at Shea's don't forget to first eat at the theatre's in-house restaurant, which is only open before shows.
It's a great way to spend an evening without rushing to the show after eating elsewhere.
Sheas Performing Arts Center and Mulberry Italian Ristorante announce their partnership and the opening of the new Della Mostra restaurant, formerly the Intermission Lounge.
Under a new agreement with Mulberry Co-Owner Joe Jerge, Della Mostra (which means exhibition) will offer some familiar classics on the menu but the bulk of offerings will be regional Italian dishes with an upscale slant. The format will be trendy small plates in addition to some traditional Italian entrees.
The restaurant will continue to serve patrons attending shows at Sheas Buffalo Theatre and Sheas Smith Theatre with entrances from Main Street and both theatres. It will be open two hours prior to show time for dinner and during intermission for cocktails.
Della Mostra will also be among the catering options available to those looking to book their event at Sheas or the Smith Theatre. I am excited, eager, and grateful for the opportunity to be a component of an experience at Sheas said Jerge. Our hope is that we can effectively combine the comfort and ambiance of the Mulberry, along with some familiar and new twists on the food, with the illustrious reputation of Sheas to add to the anticipation and excitement of attending a show he concluded.
Don't worry about missing the show either - just listen for the bell to ring and head right in. Reserve your table for intermission, making you the cat's meow of the evening!
