Oldest Tree In Buffalo
I would have taken a photo from further back, but this Sycamore tree is just too big to get in the frame. To think that this iconic tree has been around for 300 years...
It's funny to read the plaque nailed to the trunk. The plaque was presented in commemoration of National Forest Products Week - year 1960. The Buffalo Lumber Exchange made the dedication. I guess when you get to be this old, you don't have to worry about being chopped down. Thankfully the tree also made it through the October Storm! That would have been a gigantic sculpture to carve by chainsaw.
