Allen Street Hardware Cafe
The Allentown Hardware Cafe might be the most popular bar in all of Allentown. Why? Because the pub is just plain cool. From the outside, the colorful mural and the wraparound patio are very eye catching. The interior has parasols hanging from the ceiling and three separate bars from which to order countless micro brews.
Live music abounds, as does eclectic art made by funky local artists. The new addition in the back, although small, is worth the trip to Hardware. The thought that went into the details is wonderful. And so is the food - many a person comes to the bistro just to try the cheeseboard, baked brie, and paninis. You must stop in to hear the top notch musicians who play at night - the sounds will blow your mind (look for The Waz). From their website:
