Buffalo Beach Tennis
Ever played beach tennis? No? It's a Buffalo thing you know, even though it's also extremely popular in Europe. There are a bunch of beach tennis fanatics who live to play the sport, and you can find them all summer long at Woodlawn Beach.
Buffalo Beach Tennis is headed by Brian Johnson, Stephen Sayoc and Dan Johnson. The group is designed to promote the play of the new sport of Beach Tennis, on the Sand or even on the Snow.
Woodlawn Beach has three permanent beach tennis/volleyball courts - Dan, Stephen and Brian have supplied the beach community with paddles, balls and lines for the court so people can play.
There are also tennis and beach tennis programs at Cazenovia Park during the summer through Caz Resource Center.
