Erie Beach Park Boardwalk

Erie Beach Park Boardwalk

Just five minutes from the Peace Bridge (by bike) you will find some pretty amazing Canadian beaches. Some are private while others are public. Here's a relatively obscure public beach that is right on the bike path. There are wooded trails, a sandy boardwalk, wide open beaches and concrete jetty that projects out into the mouth of the Niagara River.

The beach is perfect for Frisbee, volleyball, sunbathing, etc. The quick bike ride to this lakeside getaway is half the fun. Pack a beach towel and bring a cooler. This is a park, so there are public restrooms. As for the public... not many people know about this beach because it's fairly secluded. There is a parking lot if you drive, but honestly you're missing half the fun if you leave your bikes behind!

Don't forget your passport.
