Mister Pizza
I've been going to Mister Pizza since I was a young kid. It may not be fancy gourmet pizza, but when I'm in the mood for a thicker pizza with lots of melted cheese and delicious toppings, this is the place for me.
I also like the way the crust stays crisp, even when there are a lot of toppings. That's fairly unusual if you ask me. In Buffalo, the pizza business is very competitive and everyone has their favorite place to order from. Maybe it's because this is the place that I grew up eating pizza at... but then again, everyone else that I introduce their pizza to loves it just as much. These days, Mister Pizza also serves up submarine sandwiches, wings, salads, and some of the best French fries in the city.
"Mr. Pizza at Bird and Elmwood. We ordered 7 large for a reception and loved the white with anchovie (it was all gone) and "meat lovers" all were with garlic thin crust with sesame.
