Gala Waters Racers
Every Friday, around 4:30pm, a group of 2-channel radio model boat racers gather with the fastest toy boats on water. The radio controlled water craft reach speeds of up to 40 mph and handle the calm waters effortlessly.
The racers have been meeting at Gala Waters (Hoyt Lake) for upwards of 15 years, and in that time the small group has unleashed some very cool little speed boats upon the water.
