Hope Lodge
When faced with cancer, not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows Hope Lodge guests to focus on the most important thing: getting well.
The American Cancer Society established the first Hope Lodge in 1970 to provide free, home-like accommodations for cancer patients and their caregivers when the best treatment options are far from home. Since then, the Hope Lodge Network has expanded to 29 locations in the United States. In 2008, guests saved $19 million by staying at Hope Lodges during their cancer treatment.
