The BASH

The BASH

Formerly known as M*A*S*H Bash, The BASH has quickly become one of the most celebrated events of the year. Basically, it's a giant theme party held in early June where 5,000 revelers get dressed up in fun military garb and socialize under a giant tent while drinking beer and martinis. Plenty of food from local restaurants is also on hand.

Popular characters from the hit show MASH can be seen whooping it up and dancing to the tunes of Lance Diamond. All of the proceeds from the party go towards the Red Cross - this is their biggest fundraiser of the year. Half the fun can be shopping for military uniforms at places like Uncle Sam's Army Navy Outfitters in the Larkin District (see Navigetter post).
