Wegmans Market on Amherst Street
Voted one of the best places to work in the country, Wegmans is a regional market dedicated to selection and service. The market is full of surprises including its own beer wall, sub shop sushi chefs and health food section. There are plenty of markets in Buffalo, but there is no place that beats Wegmans.
The Amherst Street store is very close to Buffalo State College. It's also situated on the Scajaquada Creek bike path. Be sure to think green and bring your own bags. Also look for the goods and produce that come from the region's manufacturers and farmers.
As I mentioned previously, this is a first rate business to land a job. The employees are treated well and tend to stick around.
